Nestled between Daylesford and Malmsbury 100km north-west of Melbourne in Central Victoria, Glenlyon in the tranquil town, known for its volcanic soil, wineries, fresh produce and potato farms.
The Glenlyon Community Hall is an intimate venue available for hire for a range of community, commercial or private events, for both out-of-towners and locals on an ongoing or a one-off basis.
The Hall, built in 1890 was extensively renovated in 2010 and is well maintained. Its main hall is a great venue to celebrate special events such as weddings, funerals or special birthdays, to facilitate meetings or workshops, host bespoke events or activities such as yoga, live music, retreats, short courses, local group activities, presentations, and much more! The Hall also has a fully equipped commercial kitchen, kitchenette, two smaller rooms ideal for round table meetings, event storage or dressing rooms. Nestled amidst stunning landscapes of Glenlyon in Central Victoria, our historic community hall (Circa 1890) provides an affordable venue for an intimate country-style wedding.
With its beautiful avenue of old oak trees and quaint General Store, Glenlyon, is located 10 minutes from Daylesford and 100km north-west of Melbourne, situated along the Loddon River and Wombat Forest – a tranquil town, known for its rich volcanic soil, wineries, fresh produce and potato farms.
Hire rates
General rates include:
• One day Hall hire (10am to 11pm) $680
• Two day Hall hire (10am to 11pm) $1,000
• Additional hourly rate $55
• Hire of add-on items such as tables, table ware, audio-visual equipment etc. also available.

Corporate events
The Glenlyon Community Hall is a country-style venue available for corporate events such as meetings, retreats or workshops in either the large central hall (for up to 60 people table seating or 80 people row seating) or in the smaller meeting/break-out room (up to 8 people).
Offering air-conditioned comfort, high-definition audio visual equipment, tables and chairs, a fully equipped commercial kitchen and kitchenette, an outdoor deck and off-street parking. Options for local catering services and accommodation are also available.
Available for half-day, one day or two day hire
Fees start from $250 for half-day (4 hours)

Community groups and organisations (not-for-profit) events
The Glenlyon Progress Association, managers of the Glenlyon Community Hall support the work of community groups and not-for-profit organisations by offering affordable hall hire for one-off or ongoing events.
The country-style venue is available for community-based events and activities for up to 60 people such as meetings or workshops, classes such as yoga, short courses, local school group activities, presentations, graduations and much more!
You can hire the large hall or the smaller meeting/break-out room or both. The Hall has a fully equiped commercial kitchen, kitchenette and two smaller rooms
Offering air-conditioned comfort, high-definition audio visual equipment, tables and chairs, a fully equipped commercial kitchen and kitchenette and outdoor deck. Options for local catering services and accommodation are also available.
Fees start from $150 for half-day (4 hours)

Local private functions* (Residents of Glenlyon and surrounding towns)
The Glenlyon Progress Association, managers of the Glenlyon Community Hall encourage local residents of Glenlyon and surrounding towns including, Wheatsheaf, Coomoora, Porcupine Ridge, Dever and Drummond to utilise the hall for their private events such as special birthday parties and other family celebrations at reduced hire cost.
After all, this wonderful community asset should be for community use! As such we offer the following flat rate to local residents.
Fees start from $20/hour (minimum 3 hours)
