The Glenlyon Village Market has long been an important asset to our local community for its support of local food producers, artists, crafters and plant specialists, while fostering a strong sense of community engagement.
This vibrant little village market has a mix of regular stall holders selling quality goods including fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, home-made baked treats, beautiful crafts, native plants and flowers, plant seeds (from a local seed bank) and a pop-up café. With a great community vibe, the market is frequented by locals and tourists alike and is always worth a visit!

Meet the stallholders
Glenlyon Berry Farm
Glenlyon Blueberry Orchard grows a wide variety of fresh fruit and berries, available at the orchard gate, select retailers and local farmers markets. In addition to an annual crop of delicious blueberries, the orchard also produces heirloom apples, pears, quince, cherries, raspberries, mulberries, currants, figs, persimmons and medlars. Plans are underway to expand the orchard's offerings to include heritage vegetables and rainbow eggs.

I have always enjoyed making toys since my children were small. I only use quality materials and thoroughly enjoy meeting the people that buy my creations. I like to change my designs to offer new and exciting toys for all to enjoy.
Native Plants
Glenlyon residents, David and Judy Redfern, grow Australian native plants to use as cut flowers and foliage. These are grown sustainably with no pesticides or herbicides and require minimal water. Posies of seasonal flowers and foliage, native seeds and potted plants are available each month at the market.

What time is set-up and pack-up?
Stall holders are responsible for all set-up, pack-up and general clean-up on and around their stall. Set-up is from 8.30am for a 9.00am start and pack-up is at 1.00pm – no early departures due to safety reasons.)
How can I become a stallholder?
We invite new stallholders to join us at the Glenlyon Village Market. To book a stall please contact the Market Coordinator, Sarah Clark 0419 516 793.
Is there a stallholder fee?
No, there is currently no fee for a market stall.)
What goods can I sell?
All goods sold at the market need to be either locally grown or home-made.
What equipment do I need to bring with me?
You need to bring all the equipment for you to operate your stall, including tables and tablecloths, payment facilities, a marquee with suitable weights to secure it.
Do stallholders need insurance?
Yes, to ensure adequate protection from public or product liability claims, which may arise from your market stall or products you sell, it is necessary for all stallholders attending the Glenlyon Village Market to manage their own liability. All stallholders are required to hold a valid Certificate of Insurance and any other certifications to cover the food/produce/goods you intend to sell. The Glenlyon Village Market is not liable for any claim arising from your stall or from the products you sell at the Glenlyon Village Market.
Is the market advertised locally?
Yes, the Glenlyon Community Hall will advertise market days via a mailout to our local database of 400+, posts on our Facebook page and signage placed at several local locations.
